How to pronounce English well?
Don't worry if you don't have a native-English accent. It's important to be able to speak clearly, so that people can understand you. However, it's almost impossible to sound exactly like a native English speaker if you are learning English as an adult in a non-English speaking country.

ResponderEliminarHello!
ResponderEliminarIn this lesson he explain the form pronounce the regular verbs in past, agree with the last letters of the verb in infinitive, I should pronounce each verb, with /-t/,/-d/ or /id/. For example the words that ending in sh,ch,f,k,s,p, in past should be pronounced with /-t/ at the end, words like "watch" or "like".
When the words end in the consonants t or d, then in past should be pronunced with /id/ at the end, words like "want" or "decide".
Finally all the rest the regular verbs should be pronunced with d at the end.

ResponderEliminarIn this lesson I learned that there are rules for pronunciation of verbs in the past tense (regular verbs, i.e. when ends in ed), the main idea is how words ended its sound. If it ends in a voiced consonant sound (i. e. B, G, L, M, N, V, Y and Z) the –ED ending should be pronounced like D, if it ends in an unvoiced consonant sound (i. e. K, F, P, SH, CH or X) the –ED ending should be pronounced like T and if it ends in consonant sounds (no letter) T or D, the –ED should be pronounced like ID.
ResponderEliminarIf these rules are not met, then we are adding an extra syllable, it will be a bad pronunciation.
